Our Beliefs
Lifebrook Church is a representative body of the Church of God Movement based out of Anderson, Indiana. Church of God exists as a theologically Wesleyan group focusing on the restoration of unity and holiness to God’s Church.
We believe there is one loving and awesome God who eternally exists in three persons. God is known as the Trinity of the Father, the Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible is the true Word of God and that every word, from both the Old and New Testament, was inspire by God’s Holy Spirit to the people who wrote it, without error. We believe the Bible is the final word on all questions, issues, and problems of our day.
“We believe that the Church is to live and operate as a movement. It does not exist to be solely a denominational representative, but is a body of believers meant to fulfill Jesus’ commands of love, grace, truth, holiness, and unity. The Church exists not to build up castles for people but to expand the Kingdom of God.
We believe that sin separates us from God. We believe that Jesus was sent to pay for our sins. We believe that Jesus rose from the dead. We believe that anyone who chooses to submit their life to Jesus as Lord is forgiven and is given God’s Holy Spirit to guide them in their faith.
We believe that a Jesus-Centered Life is a life Lived in the Light of Christ. (John 8:12)
We believe that a Jesus-Centered Life is a life lived in fellowship as a family. (1 John 4:11-12)
We believe that a Jesus-Centered Life is a life lived in Giving Generously. (2 Corinthians 9:10)
We believe that a Jesus-Centered Life is a life lived to Move to Multiply. (Matthew 28:19-20)
